Senior UX UI Designer at BlackBerry.
AtHoc
BlackBerry Security System - for critical event management
AtHoc® is part of BlackBerry Security systems for critical event management. It gets timely information to teams and the public and helps government agencies prepare for, respond to and recover from critical events and emergencies. I was leading the UX re-design for AtHoc, creating wireframes, user flows, illustrating icons and designing guidelines that can be used across the team. Involved throughout the entire product life-cycle, understanding human factors, functionality and focusing on usability and friendly interactions.
I gathered feedback to pinpoint the target audience’s needs and collaborated with my stakeholders to understand the features & analyze performance. I was testing the product, focusing on user interactions, usability errors, accessibility, and visual clarity through heuristic evaluation. Identifying improvement areas and proposing actionable recommendations to improve user flow, functionality, UI & visual design elements that enhance user experience and business objectives.
